The transportation was nice, but I wouldn't repeat the experience.The show takes place in the Liyuan Theatre, at the very heart of the Xuanwu district, close to Tiananmen Square. We were brought in early, waited, saw an hour-long show, and were brought back to our hotel. The show itself wasn't something I found interesting, as it was slow moving. The venue caters to tourists - the place was empty with the exception of a few tour groups and you enter through a gift shop.

It will take less 10 minutes to get the Liyuan Theater from the Hufangqiao subway station. If you take subway please choose Line 4 and get off at the Hufangqiao station and exit from Gate C.
